The Sonics are a young team, and aren't expected to win much early on. They have, however, pulled out wins against Miami and Atlanta this season. Versus the Trailblazers, the Nets seemed to have picked up their game a bit, especially with the return of Vince Carter. If he repeats last night's performance, we should a expect a win for the Nets.

Nice preview. We HAVE to win this game, the Sonics are easily one of the worst teams in the league. I'm expecting a big night from RJ, Durant isn't a good enough defender to stop him despite his length.

Great job with the preview, but no need to start Malik and Collins again. I agree with everyone below...kep Sean Williams in the mix. No reason to sit the SWAT master. And I think we might see VC back in the fold after his triumphant return.

Maybe you could add this injury report peg:

Injuries: Nets — G Darrell Armstrong (severe concussion) and G Marcus Williams (right foot surgery) are out. Sonics — C Kurt Thomas (sore right hamstring) and F Chris Wilcox (sprained left ankle) are probable. C Robert Swift (sore right knee), C Johan Petro (lower back spasms) and G Luke Ridnour (partially torn left thigh) are out.

Sonics are a bit wounded, I think that levels the playing field some. I'm hoping we can assert ourselves throughout the game, and gear up for Kobe.

Carter by the way is coming off the bench again tonight. Nets will use same lineup - Kidd, Wright, Jefferson, Allen, Collins - they used against Blazers.
