This Grizzlies team has the ability to run anyone out of the building on any given night, especially since Darko was injured and they've been playing small ball. And the key to this team is Mike Miller. He's having an excellent season: while his scoring is down, his percentages are up across the board and he's rebounding the ball exceptionally well. We need Anthony to keep him in check tonight, because when Miller begins shooting well the Grizzlies tend to follow his lead. Parker has to box him out on the boards (we can't let him grab 10 rebounds like last game), be a bit more assertive on the offensive end, and try to exploit his defense. Both players are quite similar and have similar roles on their teams, so this should be an intriguing matchup.

If anybody would like to post the girl of the game, I'd appreciate it. I'm on a library computer right now and I don't think opening up maxim.com would be the greatest idea.

    Lol, nice on Willy.

I really like our chances in this game. I really like the Gay-Moon match up. Moon is like gay, but I think with a better jumper and gets way more steals. Calderon will have his way with Damon and make him play defense.

Btw Chutney, I open up Maxin all the time in the library, lets the women know you're not gay. (Not saying your gay, just saying lol. )

Damn, this is going to be a high scoring game. 12-12 with 7:30 left to go in the first. Moon with a couple of early blocks.

Good looking half. We turned it on and the Griz had some problems of their own as well.

I hear the half-time show tonight is bull-fighting ...(yes that was lame)

Dominating win against the Griz today, the entire 4th quarter was pretty much garbage time because our lead was so big. The only negatives I would say is that both Bosh and Bargnani went down with injuries.

Groin injuries suck, they seem so minor but they are just one of those nagging injuries that take a while to heal. My hope is Bosh makes sure his groin is 100% before he attempts to comeback. The last thing he needs is a nagging groin throughout the season. Anthony Parker and Jose looked solid tonight.

Anthony Parker was solid, his stat line for the game was 19pts, 8rb, 6ast those are some good stats, then Calderon was 13 and 10 with 1 turnover.

Nice win but at what cost? Both Bosh and Bargnani leave the game with injuries? Poop.

Jose and Delfino were great tonight but it's another game we should win.

Calderon's assist to turnover ratio is unreal.

Great team game out their tonight, although the prospect of D-Mart as our secondpg makes me want to hide in fear.

Everyone had a solid outing and it was a real team performance.

Missed the game, but I heard on the radio on the way home that Bosh had injured his groin in practice and decided to give it a go regardless. Eventually Sam forced him to admit that it was bothering him about halfway through and he was taken out. I'm not sure how serious Bargnani's knee injury was (I heard the word contusion at one point), but they said he was walking around afterwards and was icing it down in the lockerroom. They're testing him further tomorrow, so we should get an update by then.

Good to get that win, though. I was legitimately hesitant about facing Memphis, but it looks like we've got their number so far this season.

I didn't feel like justifying that to them ("Yea I understand that your assignment's due, but I need to finish analyzing these specimens...").

I accidentally opened up Maxim UK in the library once. That was a bit embarrassing.

Jose starts when TJ gets back. He's playing too well not to. I love TJ but Jose is too good right now. I hope Sam makes the right call.

Also, our coaching adjustments between the first and second quarters basically won the game for us tonight. I hope some people give credit where it is due as our coaches are blamed for losses so they should get some respect for the wins too.

I agree with this, but Ford probably knows this too. If we all remember, it was last year that Ford gave up the starting position for a couple of games after coming back from injury because Jose was handling the team very well. I know Ford would not want to give up his position. You know, it's funny but if Calderon was not as good as he was, we would probably not give TJ a hard time.

TJ has come out and said that he would be a selfish person if he tried to step right ahead of Jose on Friday when he returns to action. Jose has been playing too well to come in and disrupt him. He'll come off the bench and work with Jose, as always, to help the team.

    What's not to like?

    I love TJ Ford, seriously.

And I especially like that he came right out and acknowledged that Calderon is just as good.
