for arguements sake, can we just call videotaping a felony, and holding a misdemenor? That is what we all really want to argue about, isn't it?
players get caught cheating in the moment trying to do their job....only one team has had its management caught in an eloborate web of deceit used to gain an unfair advantage....lifetime ban is the only justice

You attempted to limit the discussion to only videotaping types of egregious cheating

Play nice, fellas. Cheating of any kind is still cheating. I remember living in the SF Bay area when Montana was at the top of his game. The phony whiners were on national TV and Madden was doing his color thing during a slow mo instant replay, praising how great the offensive line was blocking. But in slo mo, you could see every one of the linemen were holding and basically outright tackling the defenders. I didn't see any great blocking, just cheating. Thing is, the holding was basically condoned by the refs, to protect Montana because he was one of the big stars in the league. The phony whiners were happy to take advantage of this fact and cheated consistently. I don't see this as worse than taping opponents' practices. Though any one incident of holding, in general, is a misdemeanor. The taping is not just a player violating an in-game rule, it's the whole organization cheating.

Home is Kosovo, as well as Germany, where most of my family lives. (uncles, aunts and grandmother) About Belichick, I found out a couple of months ago that his parents came from Croatia. lol
