What can be the possible rationalization for this? They save $1.2M? What are they going to spend it on over the next season? Malik Allen?

I think it's a pretty solid theory. I've seen a lot of evidence that leads me to believe he's been bitching for two years now. Frank wanted him gone. He's gone. Good.

I havn't got many oppotunities to watch Nets games, but from the only several chances, I thought Marcus Williams is a very good backup PG, imo he surely will become a starter in the future. His play reminds me a lot of--Jason Kidd! I don't know why Nets fans disliked/hated him as a player, maybe some off court/character issues?
