How do you know Cassell has 2-3 years left in him? Gary Payton went from starter to suck this year.

Thank you for bringing up Payton whose still in the league. Whose doing good as a backup on the Heat. Something I see Cassell doing.

I meant 2-3 years left as a negative thing.

Being in the league doesn't mean you are good. Payton isn't doing good this year imo. Also look how quickly Finley went down.

Clippers before Cassel=Non-Playoff teamClippers After Cassel=Playoff team, any player at all is prone to injury, young or old,Im not a big fan of Terry and I think Cassel would be a better match, maybe Terry would do well in the long run.

The long run to me is next year and by than Cassell will show his age. He already is now but it will be worse next year.

I don't know what your talking about.I look at this way, the way your talking about Cassell, if we give Terry a hefty contract, were tied with him for years as a bench player and into his 30's. Do we need that?

Terry is only 29 right now. Give him a 3 or 4 year contract!

This will be Terry's real last payday imo, I expect him to seek a 5-6 year deal. That's why I'm leery in signing Terry.

Harris is very injury prone and Terry is able to play more minutes because of his age. Cassell will not be able to play a lot of minutes without wearing down. Payton as a bench player is ok but him as a starter is another thing.

Wow, this is an interesting stat.Sam Cassell's playoff performance isn't as good as his regular season performance.Does that mean anything? This seems like reliable information, seeing that Cassell has played 103 playoff games. If Cassell is really like that, I might've been wrong about calling him a super point guard in the postseason.

I don't expect DA to be here.

Well I guess Daniels could be the third string point guard if he stays here. Otherwise I don't think there is a 3rd string point guard out there that wouldn't hurt Dallas if in the game.

Woah, dude, Griffin is an untangible. Probably the Mavericks best defender besides Diop.
