<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>How do you know Cassell has 2-3 years left in him? Gary Payton went from starter to suck this year.</div>He's not showing any signs of slowing down this year. And I'm pretty sure he will be in the league 2-3 years from now. Thank you for bringing up Payton whose still in the league. Whose doing good as a backup on the Heat. Something I see Cassell doing.
Being in the league doesn't mean you are good. Payton isn't doing good this year imo. Also look how quickly Finley went down.
Clippers before Cassel=Non-Playoff teamClippers After Cassel=Playoff team, any player at all is prone to injury, young or old,Im not a big fan of Terry and I think Cassel would be a better match, maybe Terry would do well in the long run.
The long run to me is next year and by than Cassell will show his age. He already is now but it will be worse next year.

I don't know what your talking about.I look at this way, the way your talking about Cassell, if we give Terry a hefty contract, were tied with him for years as a bench player and into his 30's. Do we need that?
This will be Terry's real last payday imo, I expect him to seek a 5-6 year deal. That's why I'm leery in signing Terry.
Harris is very injury prone and Terry is able to play more minutes because of his age. Cassell will not be able to play a lot of minutes without wearing down. Payton as a bench player is ok but him as a starter is another thing.
Wow, this is an interesting stat.Sam Cassell's playoff performance isn't as good as his regular season performance.Does that mean anything? This seems like reliable information, seeing that Cassell has played 103 playoff games. If Cassell is really like that, I might've been wrong about calling him a super point guard in the postseason.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Sam Cassell's playoff performance isn't as good as his regular season performance.</div>So what, I've watched the games he's played in the playoffs, and he's a major factor in his team's wins.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Harris is very injury prone and Terry is able to play more minutes because of his age. I don't expect DA to be here.
Well I guess Daniels could be the third string point guard if he stays here. Otherwise I don't think there is a 3rd string point guard out there that wouldn't hurt Dallas if in the game.
I was thinking of next year's rotation to be...DeSagana Diop / Erick Dampier / DJ MbengaDirk Nowitzki / Keith Van Horn / Josh PowellJosh Howard / Marquis Daniels / Rawle MarshallAdrian Griffin / Jerry Stackhouse / Jason TerryJason Terry / Devin Harris / Marquis DanielsArmstrong will probably retire...
i dont think KVH will be here. not too sure about terry or griffin either. C-Diop/DampierPF-Dirk/PowellSF-Howard/StackhouseSG-Daniels/MarshallPG-Harris/????
he's getting up there in age as well, and i believe is signed to a one year contract. i wouldnt be suprised either way.

The only player that can shoot well there is Dirk. :no1:
