    The reason I might disagree with you is that I've always seen a true "sixth man" as one who can come in and really make things happen- at either end of the floor. Dante doesn't strike me that way. He seems to me to be a very steady player. He quietly goes about his game and compiles good stats.

    As to being a starter, it would have to be the right team as there are probably only about 8-12 teams he could start for, but if he stays here he will never get past LA or Frenchy as the starter.

    West is a really good ball-handler for his size and has a nice first step which allows him to create quite a bit of offense on his own. Dante would have to develop his handle quite a bit to reach David West status ... but that's not to say he isn't pretty good even when he does (mostly) need to be setup by teammates.

    thats my take on his recent play too. Some of the threads of late where posters are reading deep into the box score tea leaves make for very dull comedy
