The reason I might disagree with you is that I've always seen a true "sixth man" as one who can come in and really make things happen- at either end of the floor. Dante doesn't strike me that way. He seems to me to be a very steady player. He quietly goes about his game and compiles good stats. As to being a starter, it would have to be the right team as there are probably only about 8-12 teams he could start for, but if he stays here he will never get past LA or Frenchy as the starter.
West is a really good ball-handler for his size and has a nice first step which allows him to create quite a bit of offense on his own. Dante would have to develop his handle quite a bit to reach David West status ... but that's not to say he isn't pretty good even when he does (mostly) need to be setup by teammates.
