IIm being a douche and starting a douche thread...I apologize in advance

Im drunk and Im back, I saw your guys win against the Spurs tonight and it inspired me. I seriously doubt we are gonna catch the Spurs but Im still glad you won cause I have no interest in facing you guys in the first round. mad respect

So a late congrats to getting Wallace, I know many of you have wanted that for several years....a late sorry for Oden but Im sure you guys are way over that for the most part...Like I always said...you still my second favorite team in a very biased way :P

Lets start the 2nd season shall we

(With my best Gene Hackman voice) I love you guys

Damn...looking at the standings...if I were you guys Id wanna face the Lakers than the Mavs in the first round...quite franky you get owned by the Mavs and play inspired against the Lakers...not saying thats gonna be enough :P

Discussion generator:

Blake has been a disappointment for the Lakers. I really like Blake since his days with the Nuggets. I think one of you guys posted the stat that he was statistically the best "spot up" shooter in the NBA last year....I know Phil Jackson is a stat killer but damn...I still for some reason feel that he is gonna get it together for the playoffs (he know how to shoot a ball)....but wtf....I'd say it's Blakes worse year in quite a while...he never came close to challenge for the staring job....even though that would be hard since Fish runs deep with the Lakers

PS... Im going to bed, gnight all....look forward to putting you all back in your place :P

Drunk Rizzle is better than no Rizzle at all.

True.

Welcome back, Rizzle. Still own you in my sig. The Lakers are pretty much the only team we can't beat lately. But that's got to be a good omen, since Portland tends to play the Lakers one way in the regular season and the opposite in the playoffs.

Blake is terrible. Welcome to the club.

sooo glad you're back; you're just what this place needs right now

Hope you stay for a while. I'm drunk as fuck right now. 15 beers? this is only the 4th time i've drank so I'm not sure.. It's good to have another fan of a different team ehre to keep us in check.

Yo Rizz! The only Laker fan I'm EVER happy to see. I'd been wondering where you'd disappeared off to -- welcome back to your NW home away from home.

Welcome to the board.

I'm late to this party apparently.. but sorry in advance Rizzle.. Blake doesnt get any better in the playoffs.

Why don't you make it your last? Seriously. I have a couple of nephews who are throwing their lives away because they are addicted to booze and drugs.

It's a bad road to go down, my friend. Hope you don't even start.

Or, you can live fast for a few years and slow down nicely. The Devil Drink doesn't consume every life it comes in contact with. I do agree that 15 beers shouldn't be a regular part of anyone's diet, though! That was my one-time top number as well. But only the once. Now, I pick and choose powerful, tasty beers one or two in a night, maybe one or two nights a week.

Tell that to my nephews. One is in rehab right now. The other admits that he can't stop drinking.

And sometimes dynamite doesn't explode when it's supposed to--but why take a chance?

Both our sides are anecdotal, so neither is worth a damn to that kid a few posts up; yours is the more cautious approach, and probably the one worth following, but your experience is not all-encompassing.

But what's the point of even messing around with the stuff??? I have a friend in his 50's (another anecdote) who can't stop drinking for the life of him, though he has tried many times. Alcohol is probably the single greatest source of human misery on the planet when you consider the domestic violence, auto accidents, and general mayhem caused by its influence.

I don't like alcohol which is why I haven't drank it much. Everything with alcohol in it tastes absolutely disgusting to me. I drank cause I was with my friends who I don't see much and it was spring break.
