Steve Blake & family receiving death threats from Laker fans...

Just wait until Kobe retires and they're stuck in mediocrity hell for the foreseeable future.

Those aren't real fans, they're idiots who base their whole existence on how the Lakers (or whatever team) does.

I'm not even a Lakers fan and it pisses me off how many wide open looks Steve Blake bricks.

It's maddening.

Shane Battier is another one.

I haven't had much time to watch the playoffs this season, but wasn't it Blake that hit a 3 in game 7 of the first round that essentially got LA to the 2nd round?

Just more proof that the Blazers are for sale.

Not reason for this whatsoever!

Has his wife tweeted about it, trashing the fans in LA yet?

Yeah, it's one thing to get po'd if a player misses a basket in the NBA playoffs. Or wide rights a field goal in the Super Bowl. Or lets a grounder roll through his legs in the World Series.

Sending death threats to his family, though, is hardly going to make the guy a better player.

"oh man I can't miss that shot or someone will kill my wife and kids".

Yeah right.

Is there any link to prove that killing Blake wouldn't improve the Lakers? Well?

So what is the problem?

Steve Blake is a very cool down to earth guy. Not cool or funny.

When was the last time a pro athlete was actually killed for fucking up in a game? There have been millions of death threats... how many have actually come to fruition? That idiot punt returner for the 49ers got death threats too, and yet he's still alive.

I am guessing the answer lies somewhere in the soccer world.

Yeah, but ... there could always be that one nut. Ask Gabrielle Giffords.

Aren't they already mediocre? They're about to get swept out of the second round for the second straight year.

1st of all, Blake hit the three that iced Game 4 against Denver and then in Game 7, he scored more points (19) than Kobe (17). It's funny that they get mad at Blake for missing the game winner in Game 2 vs Thunder since Kobe misses game winners like that all the time. Remember the game where Kobe hit all those threes to come back against Denver? Well, he missed the three that could've taken the lead and then another three that could've sent it into OT. Where are the death threats against Kobe?

Eric you need to post that question on lakers ground.

Those guys who too busy sucking on Kobe's cock to give him a death threat.

Blanky has a higher PER in the playoffs so far than Sessions.

Sessions has been a fucking disaster. They should have kept Fisher.

I also believe there are some statistics showing that Kobe actually has a very low success percent on last minute shots over the last five years. I think Black Mamba has also commented on this.

In fact, just as I have been typing this, Kobe has missed three straight shots in the last minute of a close game.

Blanky lords over those who wish him death.

12 points on 4/5 and 8 boards.

Played the entire 4th quarter while Sessions sat on the bench.

Just joshing. I wish Steve the best, and he'd be better than our current PGs.

Last time I saw death threats on a message board, it was on ESPN non-Blazer boards, in the frenzied buildup to the Iraq War. They intimidated us to post less, but we were right that the war would be a pointless murderous giant mess.
