I don't think Brandon's jersey should be retired, but he should be.

Walton cripple this team. If we had a healthy Walton, we would have picked Jordan #2 and the rest would be history. Walton cripple the franchise just as much as Oden did with his injuries.

As for Roy, thank god for amnesty. At least that loss gave us Brooklyn's pick. Wallace was acquired because we were in a win now mode. When we realized that Roy no longer can carry this franchise, we traded Wallace for the pick and rebuild mode. Just remember that...

Funny. Walton was almost 10 yrs previous to Jordan. But the result was similar. Walton, Lloyd Neal, Bob Gross, were all never the same after 1978. And I remember hearing at the time we shipped out Lucas and Hollins because of cocaine use as well as salary demands.

Walton was still playing in 84; when Jordan was drafted. He was 31 then

Sabonis is one of those guys that would get an exception from my "rules". Just because he was simply one of the greatest to ever play the game, and his entire NBA career was with the Blazers. If he had come over when he was drafted people would look at Jordan and see just another T-Mac (though a much, much better T-Mac).
