Another potential destination for @MNTimberwolves Chase Budinger, I have heard, would be @Trailblazers. Thomas Robinson, possibly.

Robinson potential >>>>>>> Budinger + Leonar_ potential
Dorrell Wright and Crabbe make more sense.
How so?From a chemistry POV, I just don't see this to be true.
How so?
Who's your backups? Dong the trade your way we have...
Blake CJ Budinger Robinson Kaman
with UNHAPPY Barton and Biebs who think they should be playing but really shouldn't be.
With my way, we have the same backups, but without the unhappy players.

No, sorry. It was Sean deveney. Am on mobile and tapatalk just kind of sucks IMO. Meant to add that to my original post and got sidetracked.Who are you quoting, by the way? This isn't YOU doing the hearing is it?
I would not mind a trade for Budinger. But I don't think I would want to give up anyone but Crabbe, Claver, or Leonard for him.
As for the chemistry issue, I don't think he would have a major impact, as he probably wouldn't play much, unless he proves to be clearly better at the backup 3 than other options, in which case our other potentially "unhappy backups" need to be humble enough to realize that better players play.
If we're trying to be championship contenders, improving depth by picking up better players who can fill roles is the right thing to do.
My thoughts exactly. No way do I give up Robinson for Budinger. I'm not against acquiring him, as I think back-up SF is the last hole we need to fill - but not at the expense of Robinson.Dorrell Wright and Crabbe make more sense.
If Barton is better than CJ and/or Budinger, then he'll play, and likely stay. If he's not, then his departure would not be anything to freak out over. That's fine, but hopefully people on this board won't freak out when Barton walks.
Claver + Wright for Budinger + draft pick to make up for the fact that we're taking on his contract. The obvious candidate for a trade would be Claver, but he earns far less than Budinger. Claver plus Freeland or Wright would work, but wouldn't make sense from our end. (I wouldn't really mind Claver plus Wright, but I'm not sure it helps anyone.)
But the #1 reason I don't see this happening is because Olshey is clearing cap room for this Summer and Budinger's contract runs 2 years.

Done! But only if we're playing by Kahn rules, so they can't put any protections on it.
No. 4: Report: Wolves shopping Budinger — Since being acquired by the Minnesota Timberwolves in an offseason deal in 2012, forward Chase Budinger has played in just 64 of a possible 164 regular-season games. Injuries over the last two seasons have limited Budinger’s availability and while he remains a promising young player, the Wolves may be looking to trade him to free up more minutes for their glut of young talent. Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski has more on Minnesota making Budinger available in trades:The Minnesota Timberwolves are shopping forward Chase Budinger in trade talks, league sources told Yahoo Sports.Among talks with several teams, the Detroit Pistons and Houston Rockets have shown an interest, league sources said.
Houston is reluctant to take on the $5 million player option Budinger’s deal has in 2015-16, as are the Pistons, sources said. Nevertheless, the Pistons are taking a long look at Budinger and considering the possibility of making a deal. No trade is considered imminent for Budinger.
Detroit lost shooting guard Jodie Meeks for two months because of a fractured back.
The Wolves have a glut of forwards, and Budinger could struggle to find minutes this season. Budinger also is guaranteed $5 million for the 2014-15 season.
