Blazers to Sign Tim Frazier

Looks real solid from the very limited footage ive seen.

I assume he is eligible for the playoffs since it was not a trade? Better late then never. I guess they always figured they could add someone of his talent at any time in event that Dame or Blake might get hurt. He looks like he is quick, has handles, can pass, and shoot well enough from the outside to keep defenses honest. That is about as good as we can ask for....... for the money. Glad to finally have that 3rd PG.

Ironically, he's the man Philly let go when they signed T-Rob.

He also redshirted what should have been his senior year at Penn State due to a ruptured Achilles.

I've watched plenty of Maine Red Claws D-league. He's probably the best out of the team. A little small, undersized, but quick. His shot can be off, so think more of a steve blake type. Has good vision of the court.

Frazier is small, but very quick. He's more of a pass-first PG but is very comfortable in transition and around the basket. He rebounds very well for his size. His jumper has always been his weakness, though since being waived from the Sixers in February, has shot over 50% from 3pt land for Maine (around 30% before that). He can get a little out of control in his ball-handling sometimes which results in sloppy turnovers, but his ratios are good none the less.

Does this mean the Blazers aren't going to sign me?

Of course not. Your stature, your ability level, your athletic ability, your endurance level, and your intellectual capacity are why the Blazers aren't going to sign you.

Wow... 6'1" 170lbs and Averaging 16.1ppg, 7.1rpg and 9.5apg. I know it's nbdl, but that's not too shabby.

Solid first post. Thanks!

Cheap insurance. Hopefully, we won't need him, but if we do, I'm glad we signed a pass first PG who will understand his role will be feeding Aldridge in the post and setting up his better shooting teammates on the perimeter.

If nothing else, he should make garbage time more fun to watch. I hate it when guys come in during a 20-point blow out and do nothing buy jack up shot after shot to try to pad their own stats. I want to see ball movement and some semblance of running an offense. Garbage time should be a chance for the end of bench guys to get used to playing team ball - in case one of them is ever needed - not just a chance to play street ball and act like you're part of the And-1 Tour.

I had never heard of the Maine Red Claws before this thread.

Oh, and their coach sucks.
