Jordan never struck me as being the sharpest tool in the box, so I guess it is possible he uttered those remarks. (But it sounds more like media talk)

He will never be more than 3-4th fiddle on a good team. Not offensively anyways. After all these years he still has not expanded his offensive game out further than a dunk.

But I do not see him leaving unless Doc decides to go a different way. If Doc shows him "love"....... he will resign. And that's good for the rest of the conference as it will tie up more cap space for them.
 
so he wants to go to a team where he will be the best player? who could that be, seriously, 76ers? Lakers?

pretty much every team already has a player (or two) better than him.

Cmon now. Robin is not near the defender DeAndre is, especially not this most recent year.

You are sort of skating around the issue here. The clips lost because the opponent does not need to worry about Jordan on the offensive end. The clips played 4 on 5 all the time, somewhat Rivers fault but it is do to Jordan. Man that guy takes some bone headed time off! Not so sure Work fixed it.
 
Reports coming out that Jordan and Paul had a falling out throughout the season. Further evidence in my mental book that Chris Paul is an Asshole.
 
I've said it since the RoLo thread and I'll keep saying it. Watch this situation, I think Blazers will be making a big play for DJ. And if you think he isn't a MAJOR upgrade over RoLo or the sudden retarded re-fascination with Hibbert going around this forum then you are crazy.

I wonder if that started after/during the Portland game. (The game we won in OT) I was at the game when Jordan had one of his many brain farts, and thought that regulation ended when the shot clock went off. And didn't dunk the ball for the win. CP3 went ballistic on him.
 
How would Jordan fit next to Meyers if it came to it?

2. What's "the last two months of the season" to do with it? Are you saying that what you're saying only applies to the last two months of last season? But even if that's true, who cares?

Honestly, I think hes a better fit next to a stretch 4 like LA or Meyers than RoLo is. He is a ferocious cutter to the basket and would honestly open up the floor even more for LA. RoLo, while decent is just such a lumbering big man that it bogs down our offense at times.

that analytic is somewhat flawed and DJ improved this year. Plus Jordan is so much better at PnR defense, defensive rebounding, and 1on1 post defense that he's miles ahead of Rolo as a defender
 
Now, if we could get Rudy Gobert, then I'd be interested. Far better, younger and cheaper than Jordan.

But then again, so was Michael Jordan. Likewise Kobe Bryant. Similarly contemptuous of boneheaded teammates.

The more important question is how would he fit with Dame. He would be fine with Meyers or LMA, but he needs to step out to give Dame more space. Robin has a nice 10 foot set shot. Jordan does not.

Also the Clippers are known as "lob City" mainly because Cp3 is so good at doing it. I love Dame, but he is a different type of PG than Cp3. Other than Miller no one sets up an alley oop like Chris Paul. Would Jordan revert back to his days before Cp3? Although I am sure Batum could help getting him easy baskets.
