While everybody's talking about starting 5s, I'm thinking Olshey still has a move up his sleeve that will change all that. He may be waiting till August 25th so he can include Henderson, Vonleh, and Plumlee in deals with other players.

Personally, I'm hoping he gives the Clippers Kaman and a 2nd rounder or two for Crawford, then flip Crawford for a Ben McLemore. Maybe these 2nd round picks helps get something like that done? One can only hope.

What do you think Olshey has left in the hat? Or what do you hope he does before the season rolls around?

Flipping Kaman for Crawford and then for McLemore is a bit of a stretch. If it was possible and I am the Clippers, I just trade Crawford for McLemore and cut us out of the deal.

WHEN YOU TRYING NOT TO MAKE EYE CONTACT BECAUSE THAT MIGHT BE CONSIDERED TAMPERING.

the Clippers don't need another SG.. they have Rivers and Stephenson off the bench. They need a backup center however, and Kaman would fit there. He also played there a few years ago and would give them a good change of pace from Jordan. We could give them Miller and a 2nd as a throw in.

I tell her that the money is on the night stand.

The more i think about it the more your reasoning is sound. They do need a change of pace from Jordan, and they do want to get rid of Crawford. And Sacramento needs to win now so they could use another vet.

I guess I just don't think Kaman has that much trade value, and adding Miller would not be an incentive for a team already at a full roster. And although Kaman did play for the Clips, Doc nor the owner were there at the time. But it is possible.

The one thing they need off the bench is a spot up shooter. Miller would be of value to them as a backup 3. Youd have shot creators in Rivers and Stephenson at the gaurds, a shooter in Miller, an athlete in Smith, and a low post scorer in Kaman. We can add Miller in the trade because the salary works of we only trade Kaman for him. That's about as good of a package for what they need as they'll find.
Toronto might want that proven veteran 6th man off the bench since they lost Lou. So maybe they'll try and upgrade Ross, hoping Crawford can have a good season and push them over that hill.
Who knows what the Kings are doing but I imagine with Rondo, Gay, and DMC starting, theyll want to start Belinelli for spacing. They seem to be going all in this season and getting Crawford with give them the best backup gaurds in the league with Crawford. If Butler has something left in the tank, they'll be suprisingly deep with Kofous off the bench too.

Johnson is still good and is way more versatile than Terry, it's not just CJ, Crabbe, Connaughton, Harkelss and Aminu could all use a guy like JJ to watch and learn from.
the problem is is that he's too good for us. Instead of being 6th we'd be 11th, and the lotto isn't deep.

My guess is, NO is happy with this roster. This is now 100% his roster. Plus I do not see a “realistic” trade before the season starts.

Let’s take a look at what we have before trading any of it away.

there's nothing feasible you want him to do? I think everyone will benefit from having another shooter out there

I NEVER, EVER in a million years thought I would say this but....gulp....waiting to get my head handed to me.....but....if he could stay healthy and keep his head outta his ass, Shabazz Muhammad might be worth bundling some "assets" together and taking a flyer on. That assumes he's available. The guy can light it up when the stars align and I think that's what this team needs right now. He can't do much else but there might be some instant offense there. The front runners aren't going to give up anything much of value. Maybe an up and coming team like Minnie might sell cheap? He could be their odd man out. I doubt Muhammad would tumble us out of a good lottery position and he could be very entertaining during what looks like a long season. Just trying to think of scenarios that might be more realistic or obtainable than some I've heard. Please don't kick the shit outta me too hard......

Final move is team to Seattle. Paul allen is tired of riding the yacht back and forth.

I'd love to have Muhammed.. last year he had a per 36 of 21pts, 6reb, 2ast on 49% shooting and 39% 3pt shooting and he's only 23 years old. I think Minnesota views him as their long term starting SG though, so I feel like itd take a lot to get him. I have no idea what they'd ask for him..
