Kaman makes freethrows like Leonard does..that's something you want at the end of a game when you need it.

Should be interesting to see what Neil plan with Kaman is.

With all of the young bigs on the Blazers roster this year - Leonard, Vonleh, Davis, Alexander and Plumlee - Kaman will provide needed veteran leadership and mentoring. If the right trade comes along during the year that the Blazers can pick up a young asset, then Neil will probably jump at the chance. I think Kaman has a bit left in his tank to help out a team that is making a push for the playoffs and needs a bit of depth at the center position.

This is just flat out wrong. Kaman shot 74% for his career and shot a shade over 70% last season.

No reason to not keep him. We have about 100 million dollars in cap space, and it's not like there's a better FA out there we can fill the roster spot with.

I got irritated with how he seemed to force his shot last year, but look at the dudes 36 numbers and shooting percentages, he's a really decent center. Even if he's not part of the rotation, he'll be there in case of injury or foul issues.

Are you guys afraid that Chris Kaman's "oldness" will rub off onto other players?

You mean like that Star Trek episode where the entire crew starts to age prematurely? Let's hope Bones.... I means Stotts can find an antidote!

"HE GRABBED MY NUTS!" Sorry, two posts mentioning the word rub was too much for me!
