They added Omari Johnson to the camp roster.

I've updated the Blazers Salary Cap Info page and added a few videos and links to player stats.

The Blazers have 18 on their roster now. 3 cuts need to be made by opening night.
    - I'm guessing Omari Johnson won't make the final cut.
    - Mike Miller is most likely gone by opening night. (trade or buy out)
    - Pressey or Frazier - one will be gone. (we're not keeping both)

Wow. Only 2 players older than me. Suddenly I feel fossilized.

Olshey likes to have his roster set by training camp with a few practice players thrown in. I'm wondering if Miller ever even shows up? The rest of the squad has been practicing, traveling (San Diego) and bonding as a group while the obvious outlyer in Miller still isn't here. Most teams figure the Blazers will cut/release Miller so why spend even a 2nd round pick on him?

Lillard may leave the team if Frazier leaves. They seem to be really close.

They don't release Frazier. He's gonna be a vital piece as our 2nd PG also with Dame at the 2 and he's much better than many here give him credit.
I want Omari Johnson, Montero and the baseball player gone.

Agreed. Why hold on to Miller so long just to negotiate a minor reduction in the buy out? Since the Blazers are so far under the team salary minimum, the buy-out value really doesn't mean much to the team. They're either paying him, or paying it to the remaining players at the end of the year.

The only reasons I can think of that Miller is still on the roster are:
    (1) they actually want him, or
    (2) they're hoping to use him as part of a trade.

The challenge with keeping him is that would force them to cut another player to get to the 15 man max roster. Alexander or Montero would be the likely targets of the next cut.

Agree on Frazier, but there's no way they cut Connaughton. Pressey seems most likely, because it's one of him or Frazier but not both, and Frazier has buddied up to everybody. He's obviously better right now than other players we'd be keeping, but
    (a) small PGs are not hard to come by, and
    (b) at this stage we'll go with potential over actual every time

However, Olshey has made a practice of getting rid of Lillard's best friends on the team, so...

That is because Olshey knows that Lillard is not a mental midget. You don't think Lillard can see if Pressey outplays Frazier? Lillard wants to win and if Pressey is the better player then he is going to be happy we kept him even over a supposedly better friend.

Frazier is better than Pressey and Pressey is better than at least 3 players on that list.
Being Damian's fried has nothing to do with it. They released almost every player on last year's roster, Dorrel Wright was supposed to be Damian's friend. This has nothing to do with it.

My sources are telling me the Blazers are moving Kaman and Miller to Detroit for Jodie Meeks... and STEVE BLAKE!

Look, Pressey is a nice player and I haven't seen him too much but Frazier looked Very good in SL, like he could be much more special than Pressey. Anyway, I'm hoping they're both staying.

Kaman BTW, if it was up to me, would be one of the players not making the roster
