Don't the injuries come late in the year when they're officially tanking?

I wonder what the offer was for. If only $5 million per year he has a good shot of still making it. If it was $10 million per year he likely made a big mistake.

Meyers has had a number of injuries. Just this year he had the finger, the numb hand, the turned ankle, and now a dislocated shoulder. Couldn't make it through 10 games. I seem to remember numerous injuries in previous years but since he got sporadic minutes when healthy it was less noticeable. Glad for our cap sheet we didn't sign him to an extension but for him personally hope he didn't lose out on too much money.

What would the max we could offer while still having a max offer available for a FA this summer? I bet it was a hair below that.
 
So, a so-called "expert" is making assumptions on a patient he's never treated before, hell, never even MET before?

Am I the only one who finds that a bit low-rent?

I just hope that Kaman stays healthy so the Blazers can trade him when the trading deadline rolls around. You know there will be championship contending teams that will want to take a poke at him. He could be a very valuable asset to a championship contending team.

Damn that seems like a long time. Since I don't click on Quicks articles, did he say he spoke to the team doctor or coach? Where did he get that number?
I know Blake was out awhile with that same injury way back.

He talked to a guy who knew a guy whose 2nd cousin had the same injury in grade school. The guy couldn't play tether ball for 2 mos, but was cleared to play kickball after a couple of weeks.
 
No joke, but had 2 different people tell me that Quick and LA had a VERY uncomfortable exchange after the Spurs shoot around yesterday morning. Quick kept bugging him and would stop asking a question over and over. Heard it was very strange.

There's a link in a thread here and sound bites of it too. Forget which LMA thread it is. It was really awkward. It was another reason LMA probably got booed last night.
