good luck manI hope you aren't doing this because of people crackin jokesbut yeah its good to stay in shapebut if you lift weights you probably wont lose as much weight..just fatyou'll lose fat from running (I highly advise doing cardio if you lift weights at the gym) and then you'll gain muscle from lifting so you probably wont lose 30 poundsin how much time do you wanna do this?

I maxed out my bench press today, I put up 265 pounds twice. That's pretty impressive in my opinion.

I hate running with a passion unless it's for basketball.</div>No its not actually. Because Basketball doesn't target the heart only. The only way for you to do that is cardio activites. Running on a treadmill does nothing but workout your heart. Your leg muscles do get a workout, but its not enough to build muscle. The heart however, is affected and for you to take training to the next level, your heart has to be able to work twice as hard. If it cant, your stuck at your current plateau trust me.

Wow, I made some progress. I went from 220 pounds to 207 pounds in a month without a strict diet. I slipped up on my diet one too many times and still managed to lose 13 pounds in a month.I'm looking pretty good, and I have more energy.

Better to stick with a diet that you know you can actually keep up with, if that makes sense to you.
