No Harden or AD.

Wow.

Damn! NICE! 2nd team is not bad at all!

ABOVE... Who is that.. @Tunchi I can't read that... is that... Lowry? Oh yes, Lowry.

Who the hell said Bogut was an All-NBA caliber player? LOL.

I believe he gets a bonus, does this affect our cap space at all?

Hey Al, come to Portland and dominate the league with Dame, CJ, Aminu and Co. You can make an all NBA team!

Anyone else find it interesting that CJ didn't get any votes?

Another Fun Fact:
Lillard got more votes than anyone voted to the 3rd team.
LMA got the least of anyone voted onto the 3rd team. One person that didn't get voted in got more votes than LMA.

Some people here have been saying that the hit is not that bad. Apparently Dame rejected some clause. Not sure. Like instead of a 5% bonus, he gets a 2.5% bonus or something.

The hit is for the current season, no? I think we are so far under the LT threshold that all it costs is the bonus money as a hit to the bottom line.

Ok did some digging on twitter. Casey has some info.

Instead of his max being 30% of cap, Dame agreed to 27.5% if he hit the bonus. If he didn't land a bonus, it would have been 25% of cap.

So the hit is about 2.3 mil extra with a 92 mil cap. Pretty insignificant.

The 2012 NBA Draft class also has another potential Rose Rule player. Damian Lillard has never started an All-Star Game or received a top-five vote for MVP but likely will qualify for the Rose Rule by making second or third team All-NBA this season (having made the third team in 2013-14). Lillardagreed to take 27.5 percent of the salary cap as his max contract if he qualified for the rule, even without a final-year player option like George. That gives Portland more financial flexibility and will cost Lillard about $12.4 million over his five-year extension if he qualifies.

There is certainly an argument that Lillard’s performance merits the Rose Rule bump, but him getting it and Davis missing out feels poorly reflective of their impact thus far. That is a symptom of the curious construction of maximum salaries and their tiers in general. The biggest loser this offseason may end up being Anthony Davis.

Dame signed a 5 yr/25% contract already. It lasts through 2021. I don't think he's going to cost anything extra, above any award bonuses he might get until then.

Unless it is already written in his contract...
