Have fun defending this shit show for four years. Let's hope the country makes it. And no, I don't need to be told how I am "butt hurt" (whatever the F that means.) We are truly worried for our country and embarrassed for Trump's lack of respect for the office he holds. Let's just call a spade a spade. In over his head doesn't begin to cover it.

What did Thomas Friedman call this? Something like, 'The most reckless action in his lifetime.' And let's see, what did that liberal David Brooks say? "We’ve never had a major national leader as professionally unprepared, intellectually ill informed, morally compromised and temperamentally unfit as the man taking the oath on Friday."

And yes, I know we have had a few threads about Trump. Too bad. I feel better.

After reading about his speech at the CIA I have to say....we have a compulsive liar as a president...I don't care how you spin it..people should vent...he's shown nothing to instill confidence in me yet....he IS unqualified and unprepared for the job. ....it's ok to vent....millions are out there venting today. Unlike any protest in history..this one is massive in scope.

He didn't seem to care to talk about Isis or whatever it was they were briefing him on, he just wanted to talk about himself.

CIA: "Mr. President, we have some Intel on Isis."

Trump: "The inauguration was great, it was fantastic. The media is saying I had a poor showing. It was a massive showing, huge. I had so many in attendance. It was spectacular. It was the biggest attendance in history, really, believe me."

CIA: "Sir, we think we have located Baghdadi."

Trump: "How's my hair? Wait, don't tell me, it's great right, its amazing really. I'm amazing because I'm the president. Your all horrible. The media is horrible because you don't like me, none of you do. Is this over yet?"

I wasn't overly so, nor excessive. I praised the things Obama did that were good, and him as a man.

You've been on the anti Obama, Clinton rage train for a long time now.....when this campaign started, I actually thought you were onto something with the libertarian option but you quickly morphed into a Trumpette....and actually Denny, you have vented disgust at the outgoing administration at a pace rivaled really only by Rastas venting against Trump.....you actually think Trump instills confidence....I think the opposite. Your butt hurt goes both ways...you've dished it out, but can't seem to take it back

Enough with the alternative reality that has been spun here by some of you - that Trump won fair and square and we're just sore losers. Here's a dose of facts for you: We have an embarrassing buffoon in the White House who was helped by the Russians and the director of the FBI and an antiquated voting process. 3 million more voters did not want him than did. He's a frighteningly petty, narcissistic compulsive liar.

There's reality for you.
 
Denny - credit where credit is due. You always gave Obama the person respect. But let's not pretend that you weren't anything but 100% predictably against any and everything he did as president. Your lens was tainted.
