OT Charles Oakley arrested during Knicks game

I'm sorry. For a few minutes there I thought he was still playing and had decked Barkley. Ahhh the good old days!
 
Oakley's been critical of Dolan a lot in the past. Dolan didn't invite him to the 70th anniversary Knicks ceremonies. Oakley was probably pissed about it and being obnoxious at the game. Dolan probably told security to kick him out. He looks like he was pissed when confronted. Phil looks super awkward like he didn't know what to do about it. Oak was one of his players, Dolan is his boss.

Weird situation.

Charles Oakley never played for Phil Jackson. He was traded to the Knicks for Bill Cartwright before Phil began coaching the Bulls.

You're right. Jackson probably told them to kick his ass out.
 
I dont know the situation but man, whatever was said or done had to have been bad. Or maybe Oakley was being an asshole, who knows?

You're right. I'd forgotten about that. I was thinking that Phil came right from coaching the Albany Patroons of the old CBA to the head coaching position with the Bulls. I'd forgotten he was an assistant in CHI for two years under Doug Collins before taking over as head coach.

Ha! Yeah well, he is the one that got ejected out of there. He was pretty free with his hands before they hauled him out.
