If the Warriors lose Durant for the playoffs then sign me up for the 8th seed please. Warriors will still be a good team, but I definitely think we are deep enough and lengthy enough that we could beat them.

It's ok Jose Calderon will save them

Nope, he's out.

Matt Barnes to sign with Warriors in wake of Kevin Durant injury

A firm injury diagnosis on Kevin Durant is not expected before Wednesday, but the Golden State Warriors have already lined up Matt Barnes to step in as a potential Durant fill-in, the veteran swingman confirmed to ESPN.

Sources told ESPN that the Warriors, in the wake of the hyperextended left knee Durant suffered Tuesday night at Washington, quickly reached out to Barnes and made arrangements to sign him later this week.

That would change the dynamics of NBA significantly. He's been their best player this season and they would not even be back to the quality from last season, they'd be worse because Barnes is better than their back up small forwards. Iguodala would probably jump into starting five and Barnes would get 20-25 minutes a game and Barnes is not great. Their bench is also weaker than last year when it had Rush and Barbosa.

They'll be fine they literally can rest him till the 2nd round if not the conference finals

Class move by the Warriors. They promised Calderon they'd sign him, so they are still signing him, giving him his money, then releasing him. They didn't have to do that.
That's awesome move tbf.

Ah, so he will likely be back for the playoffs.

Meh this is essentially rest for Durant. He'll be fine fully healthy by the first round

Warriors get lucky

Think he still gets ROY.

Also, the big man position is slowly dying. I really hope Kristaps stays healthy. Worried about these giants.

Is this the best/most talented NBA team Lebron has ever played with?

Yeah, saw that on SportsCenter last night. Less than impressive, to say the least.
