Hasn't his extension passed by now? Is he a free agent, will he get a contract this season? Any news or ideas about this? If I'm not mistaken we're now a couple days past his last extension.

There no extention to agree upon. Pat is under contract right now.

His contract is not guaranteed if cut before August 31.

If you hear news, he's likely cut. If you don't hear anything, he's remaining on the team

If I recall correctly, it's also the last day we can stretch Nicholson.

I honestly think Pat could be a Mathew Delladova type player...love his motor....if he could get his shot consistant, he'd be fine coming off the bench in limited minutes...

We don't NEED to kick Pat to the curb to sign another player. After waiving and stretching Nicholson, our roster is now at 13 guaranteed contracts + one non-guaranteed (Pat). We have one roster spot available currently and could have two if we cut Pat loose.

I'll probably get some heat for this but I'm actually a big fan of Pat. Some have said that his defense is garbage, but I disagree. I damn near guarantee that he yells "Helpside!" more than anyone else on our roster. Keep him. Add another defender too.

That's my take as well. I think he gets some real burn this season at the backup SG spot.

Stotts is a really player friendly coach.....if PC can match Crabbe's production off the bench or even surpass it...we're ok. He's a better defender than Crabbe already from what I've seen and he doesn't take possessions off....big plus...good rebounder for his size...if he can just shoot a higher percentage he'll be a keeper.
 
Quick just said Pat was notified by the Blazers that they are picking up his option. Yay?
