Because politics matter more to these people than ethics, morales, respect, etc. Arrogance is a common connection as well.
 
So ummm, the NRA channel is whatever it is. Don't watch that stuff but it got me thinking about censorship and who the guy was speaking of trying to get them silenced. Then I thought of someone who I figured was a target by the lefties and YouTube and sure as shit just searched YouTube and......

This is what you call a trend. This date was announced earlier on. Wait another week, there will be no more talk. The youth these days so badly want attention or to be something "special". Sure, some of them probably actually feel some type of way about this issue but I bet you if I interviewed most of the kids out on those streets, they wouldn't know the basic things about the issue they are even protesting

It's not even based off a political standpoint. YouTube doesn't know how to monitor their biggest channels and when something like a suicide victim gets uploaded, THEN they take some reactionary, over-the-top measurements in terms of censorship in policy. Measures that will fuck over some, but wont apply to those who cause the website issues in the first place, allowing those that toe the line to upload more suspect content that disuades advertisers, leading to more drastic measures. It's a domino effect. It's bullshit.

Basic issue is they don't want to die while trying to get an education.
After the threat on McMinnville High school last month I had a 2nd grader ask me the day before the supposed threat.
'Am I going to die tomorrow?'
Even he knew the basic issue.

These kids had a 17min walkout earlier this month. They were told to stay in school and get an education.
Now they are gathering on a god damn Saturday for what they believe in. Yet they're being told the exact same bullshit.
Doesn't seem like this issue is going away.

Certain posters on this website have got annoyed at older people who post on this website.
When the older people cite being young as why a certain poster doesn't know enough about basketball.
You just did the exact same thing.

So because a huge march is happening and kids are involved they wont know any of the basic issues, which is basically we need some sort of gun control so school shootings don't happen anymore. Are you saying kids are uneducated or that people marching will march for anything regardless if they know anything about it or not. If its the latter then you can say the same for ANY protest ever.

Posts this ignorant make me sick to my stomach..... My mother, wife, sister and daughter were downtown for this and I have never been more proud of them expressing themselves the way they did. How can you look at something that is bringing people together like this in such a positive way as a bad thing? Thats just sad you were raised the way you were if you truly do believe what you typed. Props to our country and the citizens trying to make our country safer for future generations.
 
Dwyane Wade, Bill Russell, Steve Kerr and others encouraged Americans to make their voices heard.
 
There were 20 other players who posted support for these people standing up for our citizens I saw today. This was just a few.
Curious what it feels like being such a big fan of people and a game that so strongly support something that you have a completely different opinion of? Is it weird to know how different these people view the world we live in and how we should live in it?

I am so damn proud of these kids, and moreover, impressed with millennials generally. They get such a bad rap. I had the chance last week to judge a program where 36 of them presented. They were committed, smart, passionate, community-oriented, and savvy.

And unlike some here - not cynical!!

It's much easier to lump all the negative stereotypes of a generation onto the generation as a whole.

EVERY generation says the next generation(s) are lazy, didn't have it as tough as they did and are entitled shits.

No, this is what you call bias. If they were marching for something you belived in, they wouldn't be marching for attention or were uneducated. In your vision, they'd be "marching for what's right".

C'mon Cippy, you talk about people so arrogantly at times. Everyone else is stupid, or wants attention, or is race-baiting, or is a SJW for talking about social issues, etc.

There's stupid people in every area of life. They can be Republicans, democrats, etc. There's people that will do stuff for weird motives. If you only wanted to focus on the few that aren't, in your viewpoint, "educated enough" or doing something without a justified motive, then you'll be saying this about everything. Of course, that's be if you removed bias from your viewpoint. But instead of focusing on people trying to make a positive change, you post this.
