So excited to be at this game!!! I voted for summer league. The whole NBA goes to one city but it’s really low key and affordable. It’s your first glimpse of rookies and there seems to be something on the line. Preseason is meaningless. I missed tonight’s game and don’t mind.

Preseason is a lot more meaningful than summer league. Summer league is pick up basketball while rotations/roles can be decided by preseason games.

I do enjoy summer league more though, just because it’s the first look at the rookies. It allows you to dream.

Hold on, you think there is more on the line at summer league? What?

I think the Suns won't be awful this season.

Poll question: undoubtedly preseason. Especially the way Stotts coaches preseason. You get to see everyone. And over the course of the preseason, you can see if people have or haven't developed and that kind of stuff...

I don’t want to see the starters. They look ready to go. I want to see the guys fighting for minutes and roles. I even want to see more of Oliver, because we still need to fill those two ways spots. Unless they know what they have and are just trying to sneak him on there, I’d like to see him play.

I thought the same way until I had to sit 20 feet from the court and watch that disaster of a 4th quarter last night.

But jokes aside, I agree. And yes, Oliver. I'd much rather watch Oliver that Swanigan. These bench guys obviously need to find their stride. I know they are better than they've shown thus far (at least I really hope they are).

Biggie would’ve been cut by now if he wasn’t a draft pick. Instead Neil is probably already prepping his speech next training camp about Biggies “third year jump.”

Just looking at that starting line up makes it obvious why the Suns fired Ryan McDonough. What isn't so obvious is why it took so long.

The Suns pulled off the rare combination of finishing dead last in both offensive efficiency and defensive efficiency last season.

It's actually quite difficult to suck so badly on both sides of the ball. The time to fire him would have been the morning after the last game of the regular season (or better still, three years ago).

Im gonna disagree here. I think the suns fired him because he ‘wronged’ the wrong person. The timing makes it sound like theres way more to this then basketball.

Also I think theyve been tanking, I dont think they’ve been trying to be good. They got Booker and now if Aytons as good as advertised, they arent that far away from being make a 76ers like jump in a couple years.

I get that they just sucked, but it always felt like that was by design as they accumated lottery players hoping some would pan out.

I hate paying real money for pre-season , , , It oughta be free-season for season ticket-holders . . .

If they are truly trying to tank the Ariza and Ryan Anderson acquisitions make zero sense. They ridiculously overpaid for Ariza and took on Anderson's bloated contract without even getting a 1st round pick in the deal.

Yeah the timing is weird, but their owner is kind of a dip shot, so who knows? Maybe he finally realized what a shitty job McDonough had done, or maybe frustration between the two if them finally boiled over.

Like the quote said, they are bad enough to lose 50 games, but would have been better served losing 60 (again) and getting a higher draft pick.

i liked watching the summer league games this year. (probably cause we never lost, lol) it was fun. chance to see the newbies.
