We need another viable star.

There are some very surprising teams in the bottom half of the west.... but nothing that really jumps out at me. I think we just need to wait until the deadline.

Montrezl Harrel, Kyle Andersen, the Morris Brothers, Taurean Prince, Harrison Barnes.

Just a few ideas. I know some arent eligible for trades and its very unlikely any of them will get dealt.

Darkhorse: Dario Saric -- Took a backseat to Simmons in the point-forward role - he needs the ball in his hands, his biggest strength is passing. Best case scenario: the Jokic of PF's.

Yes, but for one the people in charge are saying they have a plan and it's no different than before.

Also, many of the targets mentioned could both bring a better player and improve finances.

We could, after December 15th. However there would have to be someone dropped from the roster first.

I know you always look to improve but right now I think just about every Blazer is outperforming their perceived value. Hard to win a trade that way.

No, if a player is waived after a trade then you can't reacquire him for a year but any player traded during the season like Vonleh was the restrictions ended after the Finals.

Honestly though that is the best time to trade players when their value is highest.
