Parking, one hot dog, one slice of pizza, one cocktail and two beers = $73.

The hot dog was just acceptable as was the two beers and the slice of pizza.

The cocktail was sub par.

The tickets were $316.40 which was at a big discount.

Got two Blazer hats at a 20% discount for $51.20.

Total spent $440.60.

Kind of an expensive Saturday night.

Oh well, I've got two spiffy $3 hats for my money.

Sat next to a kid who appeared to be about 13 who was a big Timberwolves fan. He would yell for his team when they did something good and I would yell a little louder for my team when they did something good, he would increase his volume and glee each time his team excelled at something. I couldn't keep up with him. Kind of fun.

Was it worth it? I'm a huge Blazer fan, so yes.

Edit: Fixed typo.

I sat in my boxers, reclining in my lazy boy, with my chocolate lab laying on me, eating cheetos that cost 1.79. League pass comes out to about 3.00 a game, so I spent 5.00 for the night

Yours was not worth it

It says right there that you're an original season ticket holder. No more?

I watched from my recliner drinking several glassses of BSB. Great game.

Where are you getting Cheetos for $1.79?

Fans are paying a premium price for a mediocre product.

Those prices are outrageous.

You don't have to eat. Live is Always Better, IMO. I have League Pass too, and I would rather watch my boys live any day of the week.

Apparently, you've got more money than me.
I definitely dont especially with all the kids!

Entertainment is expensive though and I think what you got and the price seems about what I would expect.

I have a thing for orchestra music, and tickets to most of those are like 200ish when they come around if I want to take my wife, and we want to eat out and all that we can breach 5-600 bucks pretty easy! Which is why we dont do it that often.

Went to see Metallica on Wednesday at the Moda and was amazed at the concessions prices. Water was probably the cheapest thing, 5 bucks. But considering your paying around 150 bucks plus a ridiculous ticketmaster surcharge. What's a few more dollars. :dunno:

He didn't answer, so I'll ask the rest of you: Isn't Lanny a season ticket holder anymore? What happened?

My son was able to go to the orchestra a few weeks ago with a voucher he got for summer reading. Was nice that he got to go since he started violin this year but no way we would pay that much to go.

Have not been to as many games this year due to scheduling. Skipped the game last night to watch the Timbers.

Thats pretty awesome! Im glad your son got to go.

Thanks, I thought so. The opening post makes it sound like he rarely attends.
I don't want to speak for @Lanny, but knowing him through forums for 15+ years I'm pretty sure he sells (or at least tries to) a lot of his tickets these days because his health situation makes it tough to attend a lot of games.

I sure hope his health improves.

I drove my kid to years of piano, then years of viola, then years of trumpet. As an adult, he is not interested in music in the slightest. It makes me tired to think of it.

You can lead a horse to piano, but you can't make him plink.
