• Friday’s game marks the first of two meetings between the Trail Blazers and the Raptors during the 2018-19 season. Toronto swept the season series in 2017-18, 2-0.

• LAST MEETING: The Raptors jumped out to a 37-18 lead after the first quarter and went on to defeat Portland, 130-105, in Toronto on Feb. 2. Damian Lillard led the Trail Blazers with 32 points (11-18 FG, 3-7 3-PT, 7-8 FT) and 10 assists while the Raptors were led by DeMar DeRozan, who fi nished with 35 points (11-22 FG, 6-10 3-PT, 7-8 FT), two rebounds and three assists.

• In two games against the Raptors last season, Damian Lillard averaged 34.0 points (56.1% FG, 40.0% 3-PT, 88.9% FT), 2.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.00 steal.

• CJ McCollum averaged 18.5 points (43.8% FG, 36.4% 3-PT, 71.4% FT), 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.00 block in two games against Toronto last season.

• In two games against Portland during the 2017-18 season, Kyle Lowry averaged 17.0 points (40.7% FG, 41.7% 3-PT, 87.5% FT), 7.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists.

The Blazers started out strong and then fizzled. That's been true of the season as a whole thus far, and it was equally true for the past couple games as well.
The Blazers have been chilly like the winter air in Portland, winning only 3 of their last 10 games. They now sit in 9th place in the West.

Meanwhile, the Raptors are the beast of the East (aka the #1 team in that Conference), and have won 7 of their last 10.

So it will be a contest between a hot team versus a cold team this game. The only saving grace is that Portland has a very good home record (10-4). However, Toronto actually has a better road record than the Blazers' home record. :smiley-placko:
Moreover, the Blazers have lost 6 straight to the Raptors.

But the victor of this game could be either team.

We play Toronto next? After Kawhi rested tonight? Against a team we always suck against?

I usually never say this, and usually get on the people who do, but this is as much of a loss as ever.

These games are always tense.
 
Raptors just blow out the Clippers and Warriors on a back to back without Kwahi. Haha goodluck Blazers
 
Valanciunas usually plays well against you guys but he got hurt by Green tonight and has a dislocated thumb so he's probably out.

Meh. We're playing terribly. I'll be shocked if we dont lose our next two games.
 
Not exactly who you want to see when you have lost 7 of your last 10....again.
 
If Toronto doesn't overlook us, we're toast. They've been playing the best ball in the league so far and not just because their record says it. They also pass the eye test. They're very good and we're pretty bad lately. Hopefully I'm wrong but I think we'll be dropping another one. Hey, on the bright side I've been wrong a lot lately when it comes to the team.

Toronto just come after 2 great wins. I think we have a chance they overlooked us and being hype because of the wins against clips and dubs. We'll see.. December 15 is coming and i hope a trade is coming too. We have a chance if Dame scores 40+
 
This is one of those games that out of nowhere, the Blazers play awesome as a team and could pull out a win. Kawhi has been out and Val might be out with a dislocated finger. I can't imagine there isn't a bit of a let down for them after a big win against the Warriors.

Possibly?
