The Warriors were just humiliated on national TV at home on Christmas with a 26-point loss. No doubt the Warriors will come out focused and looking to redeem themselves in front of the fans at Oracle Arena. They are stellar at home, so it's not like they needed extra motivation.

The Blazers also laid an egg (or a lump of coal) on Christmas against the Jazz in a 21-point annihilation. Looking at most recent times, the Blazers have played absolutely lousy ball, having lost 2 of 3, with both losses being blowouts to the same team. That one victory took an overtime to seal it. So it looks like they have a lot to figure out, on defense and offense.

Well, this game will be fun.

:sigh:

The Warriors aren't unbeatable after a loss (had a 4 game losing streak and a 2 game losing streak already this season). I look for our guys to come out focused too. I think this game will be a close one and we'll come out on top.

Blazers 107
Warriors 101

I wonder if those losing streaks coincide with the injuries they sustained (curry, draymond, etc)... I venture to say yes. But I don't know.

Btw, with Simons hair, I really want to call him Simon the Hedgehog.

Tough to play back 2 back games against the Warriors. Unfortunately 2 games against them it is 2 L in the calendar. We gotta play our best game of the season to beat them. I hope our guys come ready to play, Dame and CJ need to find themselves in this one for we have a chance.

In the past I'd have some hope for a game like this..this year? Not so much. I'll be watching and cheering us on til the day I die but this feels like ANOTHER loss

This. I'll watch every game and cheer appropriately, but at this time I just feel "meh" about the whole season. Bummed out and hopeless.

I have zero expectations for a win. I think GS is going to kick our asses all the way back to Jesus's Crucifixion.

Yes if any year there beatable but what I witnessed last night by our team I just don't see it. You know you got problems when you score under 100 points in the last 3 out of 4 games and the team defense in no where in site.

The Warriors of this year are not the Warriors of the past....at least not yet. That said, I don't think they win in GS but could have a shot in Portland of not getting swept.

Probably not much chance at getting a win on the road against GS but i would not mind seeing a split between the two. Blazers can get one of these.

First Assignment is Harkless on Durant. If he does the same effort like against Doncic, he could cancel him out.
Then we have Dame and CJ against Steph and Klay. I think the better matchup is Dame on Klay, if he's chasing Steph around he'd be raining threes on us.
These are the keys. We can't hold them scoreless but we have to contain them defensively to have a chance

well.... THIS is going to be a fun game to watch....

Trying to trust the process but not getting into a rhythm or flow is debilitating to a team. Why not sit Sauce and let someone else have a shot not to change the lineup for no reason but just to let Stauskas know his job is not safe, maybe that kicks him into gear. Same could apply for Zack, I love Zacks upside but sometimes sitting and watching can be just as helpful as getting your ass handed to you every night.

The Warriors are bored. They have won championship after championship. They are just lounging their way through the season before they destroy in the playoffs. That said, they love to play the Blazers. For some reason teams love to beat on us more than other teams, especially the Warriors. Expect the Warriors to be at their best against us.
