Starting 2-0 on this 7-game road trip is just what the doctor ordered. Portland is 2.5 games from both the 3rd and the 5th spots in the West. If the Blazers continue their winning ways, they can catch the Thunder for that third seed.

It'll be interesting to see how Hood and Staukas (if he gets in the game at all) plays against their respective former teams.

Against Cleveland, the 3rd worst team in the league, this is a great chance for Portland to get a victory. With a bench bolstered by our recent additions of Hood and Kanter, there shouldn't be any excuses to lose this one. Blazers have 3 straight wins and I fully expect that to be 4 after this game.

And although it is a road game, the Blazers will get a day's rest between games. In fact, there are only three pairs of back-to-backs remaining this season for the Blazers:
  • March 15 & 16
  • March 29 & 30
  • April 9 & 10.

Get ready for some more early basketball as this road trip rolls on, and let's hope the Portland rolls the Cavs!

Ive played on a couple bad teams. I feel bad for the cavs player from a competitive stand point, it can be hard to get up amd give it your all when you’re having a really bad year.

Hopefully the Blazers take care of business though, dont have time for sympathy when you got Boston and Toronto coming up.

Nothing about the way the logos are on there is good. Lets just have it fixed soon! @Darkwebs WTF?

Been a while since we saw a big scoring game from Dame
I think it's amazing... They're competitive and or winning quite a few games this year without Dame needing to go for 40+, and a few games where he's shot poorly too. He's still contributing a lot to the team too, his rebounds and assists numbers are good, I wish his 3 point percentage was higher, but I like watching them when the shots are being spread around more.

He'll have a lot more energy in the post-season.

They have KLove back now, hes not a pushover. We’ll still have to play good basketball to win because they could run with us on a very good day, but I trust our boys enough to not take it too easy.

Yes this should be a win and shouldn't take anyone lightly due this is part of the season that for playoffs position. Plus even though everyone we come out of all star break and team should be little rested but we should be the most rested team in the league with only 5 games in the last 3 weeks. Plus the last 2 game nobody really have play big minutes to due the out come of the games.

With Kanter the duo of "Nurk and the Turk" will own rebounds and blocked shots stats. They wasted Philly (minus Embiid.) All Blazer fans feel arrogant confidence for this game.

Good. Hope there are a ton more to follow. I don't look at it like he hasn't been scoring a bunch, I've been impressed that his dimes and rebounds have been up. Dame is the type of player who can do more than score, we just haven't had the pleasure of seeing it very often.

We don't have to play well to beat this Cavs team.....not at all. We need 5 people on the court at all time with a pulse and we will be just fine.

I look forward to the game where everyone is clicking at the same time. The first four games of the first round would be just fine for me. I can wait.
:pumpitup::hoops:

I thought Mo showed something yesterday, good Mo is a valuable piece to this team when he's right. Jake keeps applying pressure like :hello:
