This is the final game of the roadie, and of course it's against the toughest opponent on this trip (who is currently the hottest team in the NBA with 7 straight wins) on the second night of a back-to-back.

The Spurs are in 6th place in the West trying to catch up with the 4th-place Blazers. With a win here, San Antonio would pull within 1.5 games of Portland. But if the Blazers win, they would essentially jump 2 additional games ahead of the Spurs (by way of owning the tiebreaker).

What a coincidence (or is it destiny) that Lillard passes Aldridge for 2nd place in All-Time Blazers scoring, and then plays Aldridge the very next game.

And I'm curious to see if Moe will play tonight. Hood started in his place and played magnificently, shooting 5 of 7 and having the highest +/- for the night with 17. If Moe is a no-go, will Hood get the start again, and can he replicate a little bit of his success from the previous game?

There's only 2 more back-to-backs this season for the Blazers. That's how you know the season is winding down. And the fact that teams in the West are jockeying for Playoff positioning. Winning this game would be a good first step in cementing the Blazers' chances at a top seed. Let's go and get it!

And we've won half our road games!

La Hilarious!!!

The thing that make me going "meh" about LA returning is that he's 33. He's probably gonna start declining soon

He’s got two years left on his contract and a game that should age well since he doesn’t rely on athleticism.

As for others calling him a traitor and a liar? People can change their minds. People can also grow. Lillard obviously got over it and is friends with him now, so why is it still an issue to people that don’t even know him?

Is he a good basketball player? Yes. Would he make Portland better? Yes. As long as a guy isn’t a criminal, that’s all I care about.

Need a good game out of Harkless or Hood tonight. Kanter might have a good matchup depending on what Pops does? Dante Cunningham probably cannot cover Ennis. Last night Kanter put up another 17/8 and if they can get that again the Blazers will be in a good spot. So they go Rudy Gay or switch up Aldridge and Poeltl. The way it looks on paper the Blazers have a second unit advantage. Spurs also played last night though it was a blowout win against the Knicks that no player played more than 28 mins.
It would be nice to see Jake and Seth make some of those wide open looks from three. Just were not falling last night. Not often the second unit goes 1-10 from three.

Whoever cut Walkers' hair should be exiled from the fashion world.

“If you want to see a Blazer Win today, Gimme a Hell Yeah” - Austin 3:16

We can't afford to lose tonight. The Spurs are really not too far away from us.
I expect Golden State to beat OKC. So, we can keep that distance from them.

I like when Nurkic makes a couple of those as long as he's not settling. It pulls out his man which means they can start going back door. Let's get ready for some DUNKS!

Moe's starting and just scored?

Good adjustment Stotts :bgrin:

C.J. that contested floater is probably not the shot to take with 18 on the shot clock.
