Should the entire Mueller report be released to the public?

I'd settle for an accurate Cliff Notes version...how many people are really going to read 400 pages? I voted to release them all but hopefully there will be the short story version for public consumption with any relevant results
 
Not sure... It depends are there "national secrets" in there? As the whole point of this was treason, and if there is stuff in the report we don't want China, Russia, NK, whomever to know then I don't think that should be made public just to appease people.

In terms of what they found about Trump or all the rest of it then yeah that should be released.

Funny thing is, Democrats wrote the law that specifies what is to be withheld in a Special Counsel report.
I heard one just this morning that said the precedent has be set by the Star Investigation. That's funny because the the Independent Counsel law specified the report was to go to Congress. The Democrats did not like it after it was used against Clinton, so they scrapped it and created the Special Counsel law, that goes to the AG and specifies what should be released. Now they bitch!

Too funny.
 
A complete, non-redacted version should be provided to the full Congress. A version with classified information redacted by the House Foreign Affairs Committee should be released to the public.

Oh no!
The President is charged by the Constitution, to see to it that all laws are faithfully executed. This then applies directly to his aids and cabinet.
Congress (Democrats) wrote the Special Counsel law that specifies the report go to the AG and specifies what can be released.
I believe the law should be faithfully executed, in detail.

Sure, buddy.

I wasn't saying there was a legal requirement to do what I said. I was providing what I felt was the most reasonable effort at transparency. The Attorney General and Department of Justice can do what they see fit.

Your ass may be classic, or it may be classy, but I'm pretty sure it's not classified.

I hereby change my vote to no. If the job was done correctly, there's stuff in there that has security implications that could damage US interests or potentially get people killed. I have no problem with allowing the call on what should be redacted to be made by people from both parties who have the appropriate security clearances.

I figured you were. Now it will be interesting to see if the AG follows the law as the Democrats wrote it. Or do what they say, not what they required in law.

I don't trust Barr to make that determination. I'd rather have Mueller make that determination.

I don't trust Barr either. He is a Trump lackey. He will do his best to hide Trump's wrongdoings.

I would hope they release a un redacted version. I think congress decides that however?
