It's exactly why Sheed was a complete waste of time.

Eh, we got to twice as many WCF's with Sheed as we have with Dame.

I'd take all the techs in the world if it got us 12 minutes away from another championship like we were in 2000.

He is why they only got 12 mins away from a chip. Not how they got there.

Huh. Did he also hold back the Pistons? I'm genuinely curious--how does that narrative work in your head?

Wallace refused to give give my kids an autograph once because.....and I quote.....we were white
He was an asshole much of the time, but he was also universally loved by his teammates both in Portland and Detroit. He was unselfish to a fault at times when we all wished he would demand the ball and take over. Doesn't excuse his behavior and immaturity off the floor but he was the primary reason we had playoff success and our biggest advantage against LA/Utah/etc.

I'm not sure if his desire to not demand or call for the ball was him being unselfish or if he just lacked what it really took to be the "man".

Sheed refusing to give a autographs is one thing.
Drexler was a selfish non tipper to the max. Those that look to get out of tipping or flat refuse to tip drive me nuts, especially when they can afford too.

Don't leave it like that, come on man, let's hear the full story.
Well I was just a young kid at the time (10-12 years old; so roughly ‘99-‘01) at Toys R Us (The one over by Washington Square) with my mom the day after Christmas to buy a video game with my Christmas money. It was in the video game section where I saw him, but we didn’t say anything. Then a kid (probably 10 years old) came up to him and asked for his autograph to which Sheed responded “Go away kid, can’t you see I’m busy!?” After Sheed left the kids parent came up to them and the kid started crying.

Boy, talk about the squeaky wheel getting the grease. I would never have used such a lame-ass thread title.
It is completely beyond me how people can get excised about threads.

There needs to be 2 graphs. Before the Sheed rule and after Sheed rule.
