He's an eighth place hitter if I ever saw one. A strikeout machine.
His last 6 full seasons (2012 injured) he's been a .258 hitter averaging 122 Ks per yr with an OPS of .739 and a not so great OBP of .340.
Nice guy, plays hard- but he's basically a "pretty good" 4th outfielder.

Of course having said all of this he'll probably get 3 hits tonight, lol.....

A blooper hit in front of tauchman towards the line and he skips and hops as if he's playing hopscotch. Only Rickey Henderson could have got that ball. Tauchman could not tie Ricky's shoelaces...

Whenever the staff talks about him they say we like his arm, as if he's the only pitcher who throws 95 with a half ass breaking ball.
4.67 career ERA with a 1.31 WHIP.
In a close game, I wouldn't trust him as far as I can throw him.
