Sonos is bad ass. I really wanted a sonos sound bar or soundbase, but my tiny apartment isn't good for loud music. Went with a cheaper samsung Soundbar for like 120 bucks.

I have a Play 1.

Ya 2 Christmas ago I got a bunch of em. 4 Play 1s and a 5 around the house. They are used everyday by the whole FAMS. Now that the son is off to college, turning his bedroom into a tv room, so I am thinking of getting either the playbar, playbase or the beam. Doing a little research right now actually.

I think Costco has the beam. Don' think its significantly cheaper though.
 
honestly I don't like all the fancy new ones with filters and all that crap. more things to break.

mainly aesthetics. hot water on demand would be good too
