Jesus that's awful. It really sucks that family can't be with people in their final hours.

Also, did that article call a human being a "product"? WTF?

My ex-wife's Aunt Edie is dying today of coronavirus. She was given hours to live in the morning. Can't be visited, of course. Having visited her many times over the decades, I'm sadder about her than I was about my own relatives' deaths, except of course my parents.

She made it to 100 after about 5 husbands, no children. Still cute in her 90s in my eyes. Helped an earlier husband build a restaurant chain.

Bye bye, Edie. With no funeral, this is my only tribute.

Her wealthy health company put her into a wealthy health care home with only about 6 patients. They admitted a woman with the virus a month ago, who died 2 hours after arriving. 2 weeks later, another woman gets it. 2 weeks later, Edie is one of 4 who were just diagnosed. So much for this high-priced trust outfit that guarded her money for years and placed her there. They'll probably charge a giant exit fee now.

Telfair was the first NBA early draftee who skipped college without being oversized for his position. AND not considered a great shooter. So I criticized the midget point guard while he was here. But I'm sorry that he's serving a work release gun possession sentence. I wish him the best.
