I may be cooking some pot roast.

Maybe clean up the pad a bit, I don't know if I have time for that.

How about you?

Football. Football. Nice dinner a home with wife. Probably a concert from YouTube.

Blazers vs Lakers

Party at home with drink, food, and games

Cracked out the last bag of my Taiwanese high mountain green tea....the best on the planet and made a pot of it....will eat a couple gummy edibles for lunch and use my new air popper from Xmas and make popcorn...listen to the Blazers on the radio while playing guitar and later watch the whole Get Back Beatles doc as my son hooked me up with Disney + since my subscription had passed. I'll stay up until past midnight like usual in the winter.....can't waste the warmth of the woodstove after warming the cabin all day! Retirement rocks!

We'll drink rum till someone falls overboard. Then we'll sail on, into the future.

barfo
When you say "we" you're talking about you and the bathtub with the skull and crossbones shower curtain right?

You are wise Riverman!

Went out to dinner last night. 16oz boneless ribeye over mashed potatoes. Tequila and club soda. Hiked down into the very active Kilauea to see some of Pele’s fireworks.

Brunch at Kilauea Lodge right now for some hash. Some fun shopping and lunch out, going for a hike back into the volcano with the kiddos, then holing up at home in my giant onesie, and we’re making fresh poke and grilling up some ahi (from the dude that catches it every morning and then spends his afternoon selling it on the side of the road at $4.50/pound) and King Ora salmon flown in from New Zealand. Lots of raw fish going down tonight. Lots of Champagne and wine bottles getting opened tonight and we’ll probably watch the neighbors blow up fire works.

That's my idea of a good time.....I lived not far from that lodge for a summer once before I found my cabin closer to Mountain View.....

nice! Were you below or above Mountain View? We are closer to Mountain View, but have a Volcano address. Some records actually have us as a Mountain View addy and postal code, which can be frustrating at times…

Above and south of the hiway in Paradise Acres I think it was called....couple miles of rough gravel road in and I had a solar cabin there which was my son's first home...it was a great little cabin with no visible neighbors...I used a PO box in Hilo when I was there and worked at the Japanese college in Hilo a few days a week.

ah, we’re a few short minutes from there.
