Discovery Institute are biblical literalists. The universe is no more than 10,000 years old. Men were created by a god and women from men. Dinosaurs and humans lived together. Cats were vegetarians prior to fall of Adam and Eve despite their anatomy and physiology being totally carnivorous.
And no one is gay or trans.

Incidentally, many Marxists strongly oppose critical race theory. But why let facts get in the way? To know facts would require knowledge of both critical race theory and Marxism and ignorance is so preferable.

Contrary to the many and very popular rumors, Sly is neither gay nor transsexual so maybe I've been wrong about that. I think I meant Homer.

De Dantis has a zero chance of winning the national election ever, He barely squeaked through the gubernatorial election in Florida's general election.

Hope you're wrong. They gave Trump zero chance, as well. Then, whoopsy daisy!

They said Clinton and Biden would both, crush Trump in the popular vote and they hit the nail on the head.

That was more of a vote against the anointed one versus trump.
Anyone else would have beat Trump. well, maybe not Bern?

Yeah against Hillary. The Republicans could have ran Adolph Hitler against her and won.

A supporter of Florida's "don't make white people uncomfortable" law explained it is OK to say slavery existed. But not to talk about slaves being badly treated. The proposed law prohibits teachers from trying to persuade students of a point of view. So apparently saying slavery was bad, or Holocaust was bad, would not be allowed. And obviously saying equality is good would definitely not be prohibited.
President Andrew Johnson, in vetoing birthright citizenship bill (veto was overriden for the first time in US history) complained that birthright citizenship would convey citizenship not only to Black people but to Chinese, Roma, and Native Americans and would make them the equals of whites under law.
I learned that from reading 1619 Project.
    Something forbidden in many states.

Nikole Hannah-Jones, author of 1619 Project, tells a story from her grade school days. Teacher asked each student to draw flag of country their ancestors came from and write paragraph about said country. She and only other Black student in the class looked at each other. Because their past had been taken away, they had no idea which part of Africa their ancestors came from. She arbitrarily picked one country in Africa.
A story prohibited in Florida and other states. It makes white people uncomfortable.

Maybe some white people not all, Im white and it doesn't make me un comfortable at all. Yeah they still are many white racist but I like to think there are many that are not and its actually going to take all races to address racism and move forward.

But you can't address it if we're just going to force schools to ignore the history of racism...
