Pornography such as Hustler, Oui and Playboy should be banned from children's reading. Dangerous bomb making or tempting people to violent actions should be banned from everybody's reading. Should other types of reading be banned? I dunno, maybe if it gets people to do evil things.

I believe racism (evil) - systemic or otherwise - is very much in the minority in this country. I'd much prefer the fostering of loving, kind, and considerate relationships, as opposed to dwelling on all the negative crap such as fighting about which books (or not) should be in our schools, etc. I believe wrong fights are being fought. Call me Pollyannish, I don't really care. My goals involve engaging in cooperative solutions. And calling me racist is the most absurd thing I can think of. It's laughable at the very least.

Saying systemic racism is very much the minority seems to show a lack of knowledge of what systemic racism is.

They can get that shit all over the internet. It's like them getting in a car and going wherever the hell they want w/o going anywhere.
Kids have to learn the good, bad and ugly of many things in society so they can make wise choices as they grow up. And yes, it does help when parents can have conversations with their kids about the dangers of certain things.

There are already laws against selling pornography to children.

I disagree that books about bomb making should be banned. Reading how to make a bomb doesn't make people murderers.

I don't thinks books make people do evil things. Abuse and genetics cause that.
