Totally 100% agree. As a parent I felt it also important to bring up my kids with as much history about racism as I could. And we have a multi race/culture family which is a great thing.

certainly, its going to take many approach's. But parents should be a key factor in bring up kids in what is right and wrong and how to be a part of the solution.
Of course we'll need parents to support proper schooling, but if we ignore it in schools we'll never get educated parents to provide that support. It has to start someplace, and the logical place to start is in schools.
If we're going to make them say Liberty and justice for all, we should teach them what that actually means.
Yeah, I don't think you're wrong at all. Just that you can't expect the parents to start doing it out of the blue. It'll never happen. They'll have to be taught to do it. And the longer we avoid that the worse off our country will be. Blaming people for not doing things they don't understand is insane. Like, the only other alternative is preventing people who don't understand from having kids in the first place. Which is obviously not a place we want to go.

Wallow in your own.....stuff. I highly respect Carol Swain. Her takes are a breath of fresh air to me. I'm not going to be bullied into a liberal hogwash form of thinking. Black conservatives are working on actual reform, as opposed to finger-wagging shame tactics.
