    Nets are .500 team that has only 1 playoff series since KD signed on. Kyrie can only play in 4 of their next 15 games and they may not make the playoffs. We have a superstar, a couple great young pieces, an above average big man, a good coach and a high draft pick. I pick our situation over Brooklyn’s all day. Not jealous at all. Sixers are down 31 at home and they are trying to win (I hope they come back). Not jealous.

    Thing is, whether or not it's true has no impact on the issue of greater significance, that we had no way to pay him the amount the Mavericks paid him, so he would actually have had to take a significant discount in order to stay here, and we all know that wasn't happening.
