I'm not sure how I feel about that video. It's weird to act like Jerami Grant is a Portlander. Yeah, he was born in Portland, but it's not like he grew up in Portland.

That'd be like claiming Mike Dunleavy Jr as a Portlander.

You know who needs to bring it this season? The fans… Fans at the game underperformed last year too. Obviously how the team plays has something to do with it. Just can’t overlook that how the fans support sometimes has something to do with how the team plays.

I hope to see the fans support the team like winners, and the team to do the same.

Melo played a few seasons here. So he’s basically a portlander too, right?

Theres even that photo of him in the airport doing the shoes/pdx carpet photo. Which is a portlander thing to do.

Portlander Klay Thompson too.

It's implied that he has some deep connection to the city. Otherwise, who cares if he was born here? Sabonis' kid was born here, who cares?

I get why they say it, because he's now a Blazer, his father was a (crappy) Blazer. But it's kinda lazy.

Same with talking about GP2 being a G-League to Champion with zero mention of him going to OSU.

It just felt like something written by people who used a quick glance at wikipedia to get their facts and didn't want to (or weren't allowed to) dig deeper.

Bruh the team tanked. No fanbase is going to fix that.
 
My only complaint is the over-use of "fans"..
I am not gonna get "pumped up" by watching a regular dude fishing in a RipCity hat, or some chick jogging in front of Moda.
Keep it to the voices who get us excited.

Speak for yourself. Some if us got boners over the regular dude fishing in the RipCity hat and the chick jogging in front of Moda.

Not all of us get boners over Calabros voice.
