Meanwhile, Wemby was measured in SA and he's only 7'3.5". If Scoot keeps growing and Wemby keeps shrinking at this rate in a few years they'll be the same height.

I don’t know why people use barefoot measurements. We don’t play barefoot. The dude is at least 7’4 in shoes.

Damn we got a lot of motherfucking threads in this place right now. Sorry I made the one about the All Star game format the other day that was trying to distract from the Dame and his agent meeting with the team Drama but there is literally an All Things Scoot Henderson thread. This shit would by definition be among those things.

Also are we really trying to pair Dame with another smallish ball dominant guard when we finally have a dude that is the right size for the position and plays well off the ball? They can do a three guard rotation but FFS this shit sucks the post and the fact that we used the most valuable piece the team has had besides Dame on a rookie PG no matter how good and we're supposedly still trying to keep Dame.

All of this belongs right here:

Because it is more accurate in comparing players. Some shoes give an extra inch and some are an inch and a half.

That’s like measuring your Dick when it’s soft. It makes no sense.

in a way it is because no matter what the ruler says, you're going to add a couple of inches

There have been 11 new threads started today. That's not really that many given the dozens of members (and hundreds of guests) that are currently logged on. And it's arguably easier to navigate and comment on 11 threads than 11 new posts tucked into threads that have been going for months and dozens (or hundreds) of pages.

Is it better for something to be well defined and on page 2 of the threads, or a thought as a post on page 33 in the middle of an existing thread?

Is it easier to scan two pages of thread titles to see whether you want to dive more deeply, or to read 36 pages of an existing thread?

I think it's hard to argue in favor of megathreads that have every thought about broad topics tucked into one big thread. Of course, that doesn't mean that some threads should not be merged, but it doesn't follow that we should have everything merged into a few megathreads.

According to who? You think it's more enjoyable to try to read and post in 8 different threads about the same topic than 1? That's ridiculous.

Dame Scoot Sharpe Jerami Nurk is vertically challenged.

Shae should be 2, Jerami 3 or 4 paired with a good-rebounding other forward, and Nurk 5.

That other forward ideally would be JJJ, but we can't have nice things here.

The other forward should be Lauri Markkanen.
Start Dame, Sharpe, Grant, Lauri, Nurk and contend!
Scoot will bring us scoring off the bench. Kris, Matisse, and Jabari will bring defense, energy, and scramble to the rotation.
    Go Blazers!
