I didn't see a Scoot thread yet. I even clicked the "show ignored posters" to see if I was missing something. I have some doubts about his shooting and that concerns me, but he's intriguing.
This dude talking is full of it. 1st off, yes Scoot is athletic. But can anyone name the game changing talent he's beating for dunks in those highlights. And when this dude mentions all the centers in these video's , he's forgetting that Wemby is not going to be a center. Also saying Ja's is a better player than Zion is just silly. Health is the only thing that has kept Zion from reaching incredible heights on the floor. Ja's team has played well without him . Granted it's an "If", but a healthy Zion makes them a serious contender. Then he leaves Paolo Banchero off the list for Jaden Ivey who was good, not great. And puts Chet Holmgren , who was out all season, in there. Do some homework dude.
The thing I like about Scooter is he pushes the ball and is a killer in transition. Like KD when he was young, he has the "Eye of the Tiger".
Absolutely. If he ends up being great, awesome, but we have great, and need some better support around him. Should get a haul for Scoot. I just don't see Chartlotte giving up on LaMelo. He was really coming into his own. Can you imagine if Golden State had gave up on Curry when he was really struggling with his ankle issues.
The keys for me are: How good is his defense? How good is his passing? Can he improve his shooting? He shot 27.5% from three this season in the G League. That is..... bad.
Seem like a wonderful young man. The Nets would be foolish not to want to acquire him, and build around him. Bridges / Claxton seems fair. For Ant & the rights to draft Scoot.
