Next Blazer owner?

It'd be awesome to see a 100 player governing board own an NBA franchise. The meetings to to discuss trade transactions would be hilarious to get on film.

Love Dame, but not a fan of this honestly, unless he wasn't making on court personnel decisions. If he wants to hire a quality management system and enjoy as a silent owner? All for it.

And now, your DAMIAN LILLARD TOYOTA BLAZERS!

Would be better if he owned a chevrolet dealership, of course.

"owner" sounds racist, "governor" is more appropriate

word "owner" should be forbidden in the us

I've been floating this idea around here for years that Dame and Melo and several other wealthy players could start an investment group and buy the team. Dame knows people outside of hoops as well with his rap career. it's a possibility.

Yes, let’s have the guy that didn’t want CJ dealt and doesn’t value defense as much as relationships calling the shots

Yeah, but wouldn't it be cool to have Keljin Blevins back on the team and Haynes and Fentress becoming the Blazers co-directors of propaganda?

He would be part of an ownership group most likely. That group could possibly be very good. At this point I'm all for Dame becoming a big part of the Blazers future if possible.

I just hope it also includes Aldridge and Drexler.

Yes, an owner who lives in the Portland area, and has businesses in the Portland area, would be terrible.

It's not about that. That would be fantastic. It's just, often players have shown they don't have the impartiality to make sound decisions. MJ comes to mind. But if part of a group of people? Hell yeah, make it happen Dame!

We need an Owner who is extremely rich, someone who doesn't care about luxury tax. The greatest teams always spent and spent and spent. Dame is rich no question, but not that rich

He would have a minority stake in the team, so it's unlikely he'd have final say on trades or moves etc.
