Yet another defenseman out. I guess it's not a bad thing to see how the team overcomes injuries at this point in the season.

So who will be taking Gustafson's spot? Hopefully he doesnt miss too much time.

Good news is Lindgren was back at practice yesterday in a non-contact jersey. Trouba has been skating on his own, and will be 3 weeks out this Friday, so I am sure he is close. Gust they said is day-to-day, so I doubt he is out long. I would think on track to all be back for the last few games of the regular season at worst (our regular season ends April 15th).

I think Scanlin will be in for Gust tonight. Big game for the Flyers who are 2 points ahead of the Caps for 3rd in the Met, but the Caps have 2 games in hand to move ahead of them. If position matters, key game for us also to stay ahead of the Canes/Panthers/Bruins.

Reward for winning the division. Playing Tampa in the first round. Whoopee!

Agreed, that's why I want 1st overall in the East and play Flyers/Caps/Wings, or finish behind the Canes in the Met and play Flyers/Caps in the first round.

Called team is resting players or his woman is giving him shit.

That goal 100% on Miller. Covering open ice instead of the only Flyers player near him

Team looks lifeless tonight. Crowd is lifeless. 3 AHL defensemen doesn’t help nor does having Brodzinski in there. Would rather have almost ANYONE out there but him. He just kills any line he is on. Glad we signed him to a 2 year extension.

Hey look…Miller again out there covering, you guessed it…NOT A FUCKING SOUL. I swear, sometimes the jokes just write themselves.

I think this game isn't too surprising. The Flyers are playing to make the playoffs and are obviously very motivated. The Rangers are coming off an emotional win, without 3 of their top 6 dmen, and without their # 3 C. No excuses, but the Rangers have been flat as a pancake tonight, and it is sort of predictable, and again it isn't that surprising IMO.

Being outshot 26-12. Nice effort boys
Look at what's stake for each team tonight, and the Rangers missing half their D. This effort and result so far cannot be that surprising or upsetting to you.

It’s not surprising when you take into account we have 3 AHL defensemen out there and a career AHLer in Brodzinski out there. Disappointing that they aren’t giving a better effort though. No one is hitting, and they are falling into bad habits in the offensive zone with over passing. We’ve all said it time and time again…gotta be willing to put the puck on net and get in front to get dirty goals. We are staying to the perimeter, getting one shot off (typically off target or getting deflected) and then losing board battles and having to get back on defense.

This is where you need Rempe to fight. They need someone to show a sign of life out there and get the crowd back into it at least.

It is what it is. In a marathon NHL season, there are flat games for every team. The fact that the Rangers are having one off an emotional win, without half their D or # 3 C, playing a team desperate to just make the playoffs is predictable, I think.

The unfortunate result of it is, when everything is done tonight the Rangers may be out of 1st in the East, and out of 1st in the Met.

The only way they are going to get back in this game is on the PP. Thankfully none of their PP1 players are injured. Nice goal by Z.

They needed that one. Great puck movement there. Kept the puck in the zone Mika takes a powerful shot on target and Kreider gets in front to screen the goalie. Just how you want it done.

I'd love to find a way to at least get a point out of this one. Hopefully they can play one spirited period in the 3rd. If not, certainly not the end of the world or some huge deal, but it still would be nice to see a good performance in the 3rd.

Just want to see them play inspired hockey in the offensive zone and pull their head outta their ass in the dzone. Not the end of the world if they lose, especially given the players out there tonight, but definitely want to steal at least one point.

There we go!!! Get to the ugly areas and score. Stop playing a perimeter game.
