the Gilbert Arenas pod is getting sneaky with their comps. Their baldy fake Haberstoh introducer leaves important context out of comparisons.

Sick of people complaining about lottery picks not playing in summer league. Rat ball is dangerous.

Maybe that's why Sarr didn't work out for Atlanta. He didn't want to be the #1 pick.

I like how Clingan seems to be barking at him in the thumbnail here.

The guy on the right side in the podcast:

"The Dude was not in the top 20 in scoring in Overtime Elite. There were 20 players in Overtime Elite that scored more points per game than Alex Sarr. And this guy went 2nd overall for god knows what reason."

Sarr is 1-6 for 2 points in today's game with 2:44 left in regulation.

I love how leading to the draft the media was hyping DC to surprise at #1/2 and we somehow lucked into him.

Imagine he becomes a perennial dpoy with tons of offensive skills, and Sarr totally busts. I’d love that outcome

Sorry to hear that. What a life; free at last from his ball and chain. Death is the only way a slave can escape his dreary existence. Will you take over his repetitive, mind-numbing job?

Now that you've mastered your job and disappear for long stretches out on the seas, these 12 moderators (I never remember their names) don't need your coaching. You can pull their strings while doing Truebluefan's job in your spare time. You could become a master Howard Cosell if you take an interest in your job.

The first step is to learn the rosters. Develop some ambition and you'll do fine.

I used to say that his record will never be broken. Unless something happens to him like it did Denny.

I'm very sorry that he died, especially after his lonely boring job in the board hinterlands and boondocks. Sly, did you notice whether he owned anything valuable?

Pretty ignorant statement. Sarr went #2 for his defensive potential to gaurd the likes of Chet/Wemby.

Why does Sarr have to be a bust for DC to be successful? I doubt very much Sarr doesn't have a ten-year career. He's still got guard athleticism in a 7-foot body. Put him in the right situation and he'll be fine. Maybe if the Wizards' SL team had an actual point guard...

That’s not what I’m saying, I’m saying that Sarr being a total bust would remove him from the conversation and put the spotlight fully on the other lotto bigs. But yes, you’re right. They’re totally not correlated otherwise.

I’m a sucker for the underdog story… considering Edey and DCs major college accomplishments it’s hardly a surprise they could potentially pan out better than the hyped guy (Sarr), I just would love it because a lot of people said Edey shouldn’t even go first round (they were out of their mind) and DC was a mid first range guy.

These guys both dominated college basketball. Completely. I will never get how that’s not relevant to draft projection, but many scouts continue overlooking this area.
