The Cavs had interest in Clark during the off-season, but neither side could work things out. Clark missed most of last season with injuries, and he has not played this year. Clark is 6-11 and rail thin but an aggressive player who is a proven shot blocker. He has averaged 8.2 points and 5.9 rebounds during his career. </div>

    Nice pick-up with Varejao out.

How long has it been since this guy picked up a basketball? This guy is like the NBA's version of Ricky Williams, with less talent obviously.

I think it's a solid pick up for the Cavs, they could use some help inside and if Clark gets some nice minutes he can get you a couple of offensive boards or blocks.

Very nice pickup by the Cavs. We're probably going to sign him for more than a 10 day contract now with Newble being injured...

The dude's still alive? I'm shocked he was found.

I think this is a solid pickup and Keon can add some presence on the floor(Raptors shoulda kept him)

^For real, this character is very shady. I remember he was supposed to sign with the Knicks in the summer. He agreed on the phone and all he needed was the paper work and stuff. The cat never showed up with any notice. I was wondering why he was like that. He has now been found for Cleveland. This is a solid backup at the C position for Cleveland. He can get on the break and can block some shots. He can give Z some good rest without worry. He will be a more than solid pickup. The only thing about him is that he's very suspicious :suspicous

It will be good to see a centre come off the bench and score, because so far this season, I think Diop has played about 10 minutes total and I don't know if Williams has had a game at all.

I guess they weren't able to work out a deal with Clark after all:

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">After investigating the chances of bringing in Keon Clark on a 10-day contract, the Cavaliers have abandoned hope of signing the elusive forward. They are still in the market for a rebounding specialist power forward to help replace Anderson Varejao, who is out at least a month with a sprained ankle. The team is considering signing James Thomas, whose 10-day contract with the Portland Trail Blazers expired over the weekend. There are other more experienced players in the mix as well.</div>-www.benmaller.com

I'm not suprised, this kind of stuff always happends when dealing with K.Clark.
