You can't slip and reveal your plan to the unwashed masses when you don't have one.
Sort of like the Blazers with CJ as their 2nd best player!
So, like pretty much every other season.
Variation on Sly's trade. If you're gonna dream... http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine
Blazers next season: Dame, CJ, RoCo, Little?, Simons? Everybody else: good-bye and mostly good riddance.
Isn't it about time to set the bar higher?
Just FYI, it appears that Spoelstra and Williams both make around$3 mil. Stotts was making $5 mil. That's a pretty hefty difference!
Probably, but the Suns have had a reputation for not being financially generous with their coaching staff.
Obvious caveat - none of us know for certain who is or is not interested in the job. Top of the list long-shots: Spoelstra, Monty Williams. Other:...
OK, I pretty much sat out this season so maybe I missed something recent - but historically the blasts at Stotts have been aimed at his coaching....
First, we all need to accept that Neil and Dame are too invested in CJ to trade him. Second, if he was traded I fear many fans would be shocked at...
Good grief.
In the interest of fairness I will say he had more success than I would have predicted for him when he was hired.
What if the answer is that you can't win a title with Dame as your best player? Hurts to say it, but it might be true.
Honest response? Kidd strikes me as too much of a prima donna. Stotts may be a mediocre coach, but he seems like a nice, inoffensive person.
IF they were to trade Dame, I would root for OKC or Houston offering a fistfull of draft picks - though OKC has some young players that are also...
A team with limited expectations? Sounds like a perfect fit.
Heck, why not include Monty Williams?
So - people who weren't impressed with Stotts are not entitled to an opinion on his replacement? An unusual and puzzling take on the situation.
Phooey. Chain them to the same millstone and drown them together.
